Genocide museum in Phnom Penh

According to documents discovered by the documentation center of Cambodia S-21 was established at Tuol Sleng in May 1976.
S-21 or Tuol Sleng was the most secret organ of the KR regime.S-21 stands for security office 21."S-21 was Angkor premier security institution, specially designed for the interrogation and extermination of anti-Angkor elements.
In 1962 S-21 was a high school and during the KR regime it became a prison to keep the democrats disagreed with the regime. They brought the prisoners here to interrogation and keep them. They didnt stay here more than 2-4 months and if they were important persons 6-8 months and after that they all brought to execute fields to kill. There is many public graves with many bones. In S-21 the prisoners were under very hard interrogations and many of them died during interrogation. it was too sad visiting the museum and pictures,
