KOB ( Kids On Bike )

As I wrote before I was planning to participate in KOB( Kids On Bike) in Hamilton on April 4th.

KOB is a program running with some individuals who are concerned about kids confidence and they are trying to give the kids more confidence and also looking for people to get involved with some kind of charity. They try to rise some found by encouraging people or companies and then they provide some bicycle for young students who doesn’t have bicycle. They are actually looking for some result which is helping students to have more confidence, getting involved with social works and make them more responsible about their society.

I met some friends from Greenpeace, Dina Purita Antonio-Jufri and Sharon Mealy, in a Moroccan restaurant in Jakarta and after that we had a meeting again to make a program in some schools.

I met the guys, Didit Haryo Wicaksono and Arthur, who are working as forest defenders in Indonesia.

Workshop at Binus School

Last week I went to Bina Nusantara (Binus) School which is a very big school in Jakarta. I met Mr. Boy Luna, who a friend of my host Arianne, at his house. Mr. Boy is a Filipino artist and he is the Head of the Arts Department of Binus School.

On Sunday, 19 January I went to the KANCIL (Kelompok Anak Kecil Cinta Belajar or Children Who Love to Learn) Sunday school in Senen, Central Jakarta organized by the group headed by Ibu Monica to hold a workshop with the children there.

Planting tree in International school

Last time that I went to international school we had just workshop and we had no chance to plant tree with students, but they told me that I can go there again on Friday to have another workshop.

It was a good chance for me and I didnt like it to loose. So yesterday I went to international school and we made another workshop. Lisa Nazim called me and informed me that there is a chance to plant a tree with students. It was great.

A few days ago I went to search around the town to find a school for having workshop with students. My friend brought me to the one of the biggest school in Kuala Lumpur. It was ISKL ( international school kuala lumpur)

Planting tree in Iranian school and new idea

Yesterday I went to Iranian school to plant a tree with students and we did.

When I went there to make a workshop, we made a promise that before I leave Kuala Lumpur I go there to plant a tree.

I supposed to be there just before leaving KL to Melaka, but students were happy to make it on Wednesday due to some of them were going to leave KL to Iran.

But something nice happened there before planting tree in Iranian school.
